17 JAN 03

Loquacious Sister has reminded me that today is Ben Franklin’s birthday and shared this wise Franklin quote.

"Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy."

Ben Franklin

She also noted that it was Al Capone’s birthday as well. Against her recommendation to ignore this fact, I’m including this wiseguy Capone quote.

"You can get much farther with a kind word and a gun than you can with a kind word alone."

Al Capone

Beer, please!

The results of yesterday’s poll, "Who would you…?" It’s a bit skewed. I voted for Jeanie twice. What guy wouldn’t want a chick who can produce anything he asks for out of thin air and calls him "Master"?

Answer Votes Percent
Ginger 1 10.00 %
Mary Ann 1 10.00 %
The Professor 2 20.00 %
Samantha 0 0.00 %
Jeanie 4 40.00 %
Daphne 2 20.00 %

Her costume is pretty good too.
