From Wikipedia's List of Greek Phrases.

Ἀνάγκᾳ δ’οὐδὲ θεοὶ μάχονται (Ananka-i d'oude theoi makhontai) – "Even the Gods do not fight necessity." – Simonides of Ceos.

They will, however, kick gratuitousness right in the yarbles.

The end of the world is 30 years overdue. I blame the loud Rock and Roll Music that The Kids Today listen to.

The Unfact™ is, to the best of our knowledge, completely false and unsupportable. We are not responsible for any consequences that are bound to occur if you are silly enough to believe it.

"Rock-A-Bye Baby" is the recounting of an event in France that left Louis X's heir, John I the Posthumous, stranded in a tree. It was blamed on a windstorm, but was almost certainly the first of many attempts on the life of the infant John I by his uncle the future Phillip V. Phillip was eventually sucessful and took the throne in 1316.

Ok. Ainsi celui-ci est seulement la plupart du temps faux.
