Almost out of style

A Milli Vanilli movie is in the works. Rob and Fab are responsible for the funniest thing I’ve ever read.

During In Living Color’s first season (episode 2) Keenen and Damon Wayans did a Milli Vanilli mocking skit. The Wayans played Rob and Fab…pardon, played Milli and Vanilli hawking a do-it-yourself kit that would allow the user to be like Milli Vanilli. They urged us to “Act now because we are almost out of style!”.

A few weeks later TV Guide reviewed In Living Color for the first time. The reviewer was positive about the show but thought that it relied too much on Black humor. The "B" is capped because the reviewer meant "of African descent" thus "hip" and "urban" and not what I try to do. To demonstrate this ghetto fabulousness the reviewer cited the Milli Vanilli skit.

I’m still laughing.

In a fashion related note, Monday (26 FEB 07) is Cashmas. Since I’m no longer allowed within the Reno city limits I’ll be dressing in black. The slimming color and not the ethnicity or form of humor.

"Yo"! What’s "The Word" on "The Street", "My Man"?

All news, all the time!

A timely crossword puzzle.

Trouble in Boston, Death in Hollywood, and Love in Space

All of the answers are, at least tangentially, related to the recent news stories alluded to in the title. Don’t forget about my Wikipedia dependency.

Heh…Depends…
