Beyond Uranus (which is big and gassy)
The American Dialect Society has voted on the word of the year for 2006. The winner is "plutoed".
to pluto/be plutoed: to demote or devalue someone or something, as happened to the former planet Pluto when the General Assembly of the International Astronomical Union decided Pluto no longer met its definition of a planet.
The Management finds this word of limited use and will continue to employ "demote", "devalue", "misprize", and "betamax".
The word voted most likely to succeed is "YouTube".
YouTube: as a verb, to use the YouTube web site or to have a video of one’s self be posted on the site.
The Management declares that, while the YouTube is useful and entertaining, the practice of posting videos of oneself for self-aggrandizement is a waste of valuable bandwidth on the interweb. Just like this website.
And it’s got rings around it.
