The Unfact™ of the Month

The Unfact™ is, to the best of our knowledge, completely false and unsupportable. We are not responsible for any consequences that are bound to occur if you are silly enough to believe it.

Junk mail got its name because before the first intercontinental railroad it was cheaper to have patent medicine circulars printed in China and shipped to California to fill unsuspecting mailboxes. The circulars were not actually shipped by junks but “junk” was as a metonym.
